Beverly Higgins was driving home from work. "It was ten to seven," she
recalled, "I was on Route 3 coming home from Littleton (N.H.), just before
the Columbia trailer park when I saw this thing across my windshield, just
above my steering wheel."
Ms. Higgins watched the object cross the sky from west to east, coming from Vermont and passing over the Connecticut River. "It was oval--I counted six windows and there was a green light in front of it," she said. "It hovered slowly, but there was no noise."
After a few minutes, the UFO "took off over the mountains" and Ms. Higgins continued on her journey.

A waitress was walking down the street at 4:30 p.m. when she saw several
people at the corner pointing to the sky. Joining them, she looked up and
saw "a shiny triangular object." She added that "the UFO was motionless
and hovered at 4,000 to 5,000 feet above the outskirts of Manchester's
airport." She and the crowd watched the object for 20 minutes, and then
she entered a nearby restaurant. When she came outside again, the UFO was
gone.

STEWARTSTOWN
6/16/97
(RDUP6/22/9)
At 11:05 p.m., MUFON investigators Sandra Black and Barbara Emond sighted
a UFO over Stewartstown, N.H., a town on the border 60 miles (96
kilometers) northwest of Berlin. The investigators saw the mysterious
lights "from different locations several miles apart. They observed
strange moving white and red lights near Stewartstown...It looked like one
of the lights went on top of the other, brightened and dimmed, then moved
slowly east to west over the house. A third witness who was apparently
closer claimed she saw a large round craft with numerous lights passing
over the area."
